Let me start by saying : I enjoy #StarTrekPicard
It has a myriad of flaws that I can wave away because I love the character of #JeanLucPicard
I think a lot of it's problems are the same as the problems with #StarWarsSequelTrilogy
The first one was pulled together through nostalgia and love of an idea/character without any forethought into it's own future
The second one was a departure from the regular formula and focused more on new characters

I just feel that the lasting legacy of #StarTrekPicard will be one of missed opportunities

It has a seemingly meandering plot (complete with a trip through a wealthy setting) and seems to disregard a lot of established lore
Season 3 seems to written in such a way that addresses fan concerns from season 1&2 and seems to be only for the purists among us.
Bringing back as many of the "original" cast as possible and making them as close to the last time we saw them as possible.I hope season 3 is amazing. I want season 3 to be amazing.
