episode Spock's Brain needs to revisited in modern Trek.

shows Ni'Varans get their brain stolen and you see the differences between Vulcan and Romulan physiology

does a deep dive into the metaphysical ramifications of separating the Vulcan brain from the body and the role of the Katra maintaining the body

I feel this captures how each series would approach it

@Stephenstrek: - Picard has to go to DS9 because the Eymorg have stolen Quark's brain and taken off thru the wormhole. Picard and Co. follow them, only to find out that Odo and the Dominion have become ruthless dictators of the entire quadrant, and they need Quark's brain to work a deal with what's left of the Q Continuum to keep the Federation from ever being started. ...

@Stephenstrek:

Eventually, Kirk shows up, bones the queen, and she completely forgets about the whole thing because, c'mon! Who wouldn't after getting Kirked? Ammirite?!?!

Wait... What were we talking about again? I got lost in my own absolutely insane fanfic.

I can't wait for the next seasons!!!! (Although I hope they go with stuff closer to your ideas, rather than mine. Mine are more "Orville-ian". ;) :D )

@TheBigWu honestly, I left Picard out because it doesn't seem like the kind of thing they'd handle. And, as much as I enjoy the series, they're kinda all over the map when it comes to themes
