What if we took away the tax money given to red states from blue states? They scream that they don't have their hand out and don't get shit from money their state collects, as if they don't drive on the roads and shit. Collectively, idc if you pay all your bills, your hand is out. Lose the blue state money and your state will have to reduce services offered or significantly raise taxes on residents. They stay for the cruelty/racism while benefiting off blue states dime.
Texas Republicans are always going on about "don't California my state"... but, as it turns out, California's per capita GDP is 25 or 30% greater than Texas's. Between them, New York and California could buy and sell most of the Red States with the loose change under their sofa cushions.
@TheKarlWLewis You can look no further that Rep Kennedy's blathering video of him repeatedly using the terms Woke ideology, liberal elites, highly educated stupid people, to understand the brainwashing that makes the republican base hate dems and their states. Every time they refer to California, they mention liberal elites. They are "othering" the dems, the same as they do anyone not white. They are convincing them that the dems are taking from them, same as they did with the race issue.
