Bought a kerosene heater incase the power goes out during this mess. I also have a fireplace and I live in the woods; I imagine I can drag up plenty of fallen limbs/wood to burn in that as well.
@BiosphereIsland it's hard to believe since I'm in central Mississippi but I have yet to find Single scorpion here. Been here since 2017 so that baffles me. Hoping to not have to use the fireplace because it makes me a nervous wreck since I'm in an older double wide on a foundation. I posted in the neighborhood app inquiring about someone who could deliver some fireplace wood but it's been like two days and nobody ever responded.
@StephanieResists Hope you can gather enough wood to get by.
@StephanieResists Make sure your wood is dry. Be careful of bringing scorpions and roaches in with the wood as well. You probably already know this but some people who don't use firewood as much may not.
