@Florence I literally just woke up, took a sip of coffee, opened twitter and seen this thing about voting, put in my IL. address and there it was.
@StephanieResists It's dreadful. I'm surprised at IL too, my other half comes from Chicago, and they're normally quite good. I wonder if these sites are targets for hackers?
@Florence I was shocked as well. I'm in the southern tip of IL, across from Cape Girardeau, MO. but I'm currently in MS and voting absentee. Well I might be, the application took 5 days to show up, I sent back to them overnight ($60) out of pocket, they lost it and it took 4 days to arrive. Now I'm currently waiting on my ballot and praying. They rec'd my application 11:56am on 11/1, still no ballot...
@StephanieResists Fingers crossed for you. I'm a mail in voter too, I'm currently in Europe, and my home state is CA. They normally do mess it up but this time it went relatively smoothly. But that's unusual to be honest.
@StephanieResists That's preposterous. Have you reported it to them, and have you contacted one of the org's dealing with voter suppression?
