Omicron booster effects:
Friday 5:30 pm: got the shot, am happily surprised the typical headache doesnāt kick in after an hourāno side effects Friday
Sat: 6 amāstill feeling fine, except a teeny bit of sore armāfeeling hopeful Iām skipping the worst
Sat 11 amāMack truck of symptoms hitāall the top ten except nausea, & sound/light sensitive + my skin feels like itās burning.
Sat 11 pm: fever topped out at 102, still hot/cold/sore
Sun am: no fever, sore arm esp that lymph node, muscle aches
So about 24 hours of truly sucking misery, I couldnāt get comfortable, due to the soreness in my muscles/joints and the chills/fever. I started pushing fluids once the headache and fever kicked in.
Sincerely hoping this morningās reduction in symptoms means Iām on my way out. Still grateful I was able to get the Omicron booster and even though it sucked, Iād do it again in a heartbeat. Happy Sunday yāall, and wishing anyone else with booster symptoms a swift recovery.
@Minholkin Thank you š
I have a friend and a nephew by marriage with long Covid, and what they have to go through makes my experience feel like a drop in the bucket.
Just a matter of perspective. I wanted folks to know the booster symptoms can be rough but the alternative is even worse. Per the techās advice Iām waiting 10-14 days for my flu shot and am so glad I did.
@StarlightEmber
I honor your perspective and appreciate it! š
