Biden admin becomes first in history to not just deport a bunch of people but the first to deport them to a country not of their origin! 🤷🏻♂️

@Smersh I'm having trouble being upset by people being sent to a country better than the one they left to come to the US illegally.
@TrueBloodNet weirdly, the US for once isn’t actually doing what’s best for business/the food supply. We need immigration reforms too.
"We wouldn’t be growing peaches today if we didn’t have access to that program. We are 100% dependent on H-2A. My field crew is 90% H-2A."
“Farmers and ranchers in CO say they hire the majority of their workers using programs like H-2A. But they say it’s expensive, bureaucratic and increasingly harder to get enough people.”
@Smersh I'm totally in support of allowing more immigration into the country in general. Including more temporary workers. And would argue that closing the borders is one reason food prices have skyrocketed.
That wasn't my objection. It just doesn't feel like a bad thing to send folks to Mexico vs some place that's really awful.
@Smersh: That's in some part due to some countries where people were from *not* accepting them back. Venezuela and Cuba are two of particular note. Mexico accepts many of them but of course not all.
@Smersh
Pretty sure Trump did it first.
@Sr0bi nope. The policy idea came about during Trump's admin but Biden's is the first to go through with it.
@Smersh shameful
