Nothing that happens in MAGAville makes any sense, but the latest tempest in a turdbowl is even more idiotic than usual. Apparently DeSantis, in a typically hapless turn of phrase, referred to TFG followers as "listless vessels that [are] just supposed to follow whatever happens to come down the pike on Truth Social every morning."
Now this is at best a mixed metaphor and probably means nothing at all, but the MAGAs are FURIOUS. Why?

Are they making fun of DeSantis for his malapropisms? No. They're convinced this is a deadly coded insult–of some kind.
As best I can guess, they think that DeSantis is making fun of those rotting, lonely hulks littering the bottom of Lake Travis after nature turned against the Trump Flag Boats on September 5, 2020. But who really knows? All that matters is that their feelings are hurt.
I was in the middle of eating popcorn and I just choked laughing.
