So the ding-a-ling Twitch streamer who ended up causing a riot in NYC is 21 years old and apparently started his YouTube channel in 2012.
Which would have made him 10 at the time.
My head hurts.
Yeah I just Googled that.
YT gets around it by allowing parents to set up the account and give permission.

When 16 was about 7 years old he said, "When can I have my own YouTube channel?" and I said, "When you're an adult and not living in my house."
Eventually the desire passed.
