It's going to be a long night.
Pro-Tip- make sure that all dog toys are put away when not supervising.
Of course this doesn't matter if the dog decides to eat the carpet, too
Pro-Tip- wear glasses when cleaning up dog puke and give half a serving of food with olive oil added. A teaspoon. It's not pasta.

Whatever your dingbat ate has to come out one way or the other.
Olive oil helps it through the intestines.
Stay off the phone and pay attention to the pooping.
If your dog can't poop - to the vet.

If you TRULY don't live near an emergency vet and your dog gets nabbed by a copperhead, under the chin, like most dogs will please confine your dog in the smallest area possible, as much as you think crate training is evil this is a reason to have a crate, and give the dog Benadryl and quiet until your local vet opens.
You do not want that dog mobile.
I'll look up the dosage but don't let that dingdong run around.

Benadryl for a dipshit tangling with a copperhead is 1mg per pound of body weight.
50lb dog? 2 Benadryl.
Etc...
Use the calculator on your phone.

@Shelter This is also a great way to keep a high strung animal from hurting themselves during fireworks.

@Shelter Really?!? I thought mine was a hot mess! That sounds rough, or maybe ruff...

@jasod

Lucy was a dumped hunting hound in 2015 and apparently she was dumped due to her anxiety over sudden loud noises.
Like gunshot.
And fireworks.
And thunder.
Nothing has helped.

@jasod
My baby girl was living under a gas station dumpster until my old boss from the animal shelter drove in and said hell no.
My poor baby.
Leia is the actual baby.
But Lucy is My Baby.
