I noticed something here today.
Not one person made fun of me for ugly crying for an hour straight over the death of a human being who I didn't know personally.
Someday I'll tell you about my #CPTSD from childhood and how that particular iteration of #Batman at that specific time in my life let me get to know what and who I was, but not tonight.
Thank you for being kind.
@Shelter We are empathetic here. We understand loss and sorrow. Hope you feel better
soon.
Thanks
@Shelter It is always easy to be kind. More people should try it.
Sending a hug.
@Shelter Kindness, compassion and caring the hallmarks of a good person, regardless of age, beliefs, or station in life.
@Shelter I cried too, I haven't been this sad over a celebrity death since Carrie Fisher... He was and is my only batman. When people ask me I usually have to explain who he is, but everyone knows him without knowing him.
@Ragorik
I was just thinking how this hit me the same way Carrie did.
A total shock followed by a deep sense of loss.
@Ragorik
The world is a poorer place without both of them.
Poor Mark.
@Shelter right? Mark is both for us, someone protect him! Joker and Luke!
@Shelter I really don't care much for most celebrities, but they informed so much of my childhood.
@Shelter Kindness is at home here, Shelter... In the short period of time that I've been here - 10 days - I've found that to be true... 🤗
@Shelter hugs 🤗
@Shelter Hugs to you. Public figures can affect us so much in very specific ways.
@Shelter i missed your cry but am sending you hugs tonight.
@Shelter Why would we ridicule you over that?
@XaoslordErie
People do.
@Shelter I can imagine, knowing how people can be ... I just can't wrap my head around someone like that being HERE, but I guess there are some.
@XaoslordErie
I wasn't sure, so it was amazing.
@Shelter 🤗 🤗
