First time I ever visited Phoenix, hailing from the land of air you can drink through a straw, I landed at the airport, collected my luggage, got in my rental, drove to my hotel and checked in.
Called my local friend and told him that I wasn't feeling great and we should put off dinner until the next night.
He showed up 20 minutes later with a case of water, made me drink two bottles, and explained that I was basically desiccated.
Love the SW, but that heat is deadly. ☀️
