52 Hours Puerto Vallarta
My wife and daughter arrived at the airport with their spirits lifted having found out daughter's passport card the night before, anxious to begin their vacation in Puerto Vallarta.
"I'm sorry," the ticketing agent began. "You need the full passport book for airline travel."
We had previously used the card for Canada (ferry) and Rocky Point Mexico (motor home).
I was taking a hot therapeutic shower after the Thanksgiving morning clean out, when the ... 1/x
... Canine companion started making alarming noises. I poked my head out the bedroom door, my body covered in suds to the two ladies returned home, crestfallen.
They explained the situation and went immediately to work looking for the lost book, and researching "same day passports".
On Thanksgiving Day.
I rested my body for the work later that day--which I reported already went well.
When I returned home, the ladies had a plan. The BMW EV was getting fully charged and they were leaving...2/X
... Early the next morning for their own Black Friday door buster IN TUCSON.
They found a that place did same day passports, *by appointment* and were driving from Phoenix to Tucson in the hopes it would be open and they might get an appointment.
I was skeptical about it all but kept my mouth shut.
It was difficult. They snagged the last appointment, filled out the federal paperwork at a Starbucks and printed out those forms at a Kinko's. Phones were running low in battery. 3/x

Exceptional effort on their part!
You were also exceptional for keeping your opinions to yourself and letting them show you NOTHING gets in the way of women and their goals!
