TFG and 18 others charged. A 98 page indictment detailing huge and deliberate criminal actions. Every indictment sought by the DA supported by the grand jury.
And Rs are screaming that indicting their cult leader is "an attack on the rule of law." Of course they are. Everyone knows the rule of law means letting their guy stage a coup without consequences.
@SentinelOfTruth They're desperately hoping it will get them to absolute and permanent dictatorial power through "backlash" and "Trump indictment fatigue" (in which they have a certain degree of help from mainstream media still desperate for a horse race, even as they admit the truth of the indictments).
Of course they tried that in 2022, and look what happened. And the reaction to Dobbs has given a taste of what happens when they try to rule against modern reality.
@RationalLeft It should be noted not a soul showed up to protest the charges im person. For a movement desperate to show bodies in action to the cause, that, more than the actual indictments, are the biggest blow.
The backlash as you put it, I frankly think is broken on their end. This is just erratic flailing now. You saw McCarthy, that's what it looks like.
@SentinelOfTruth Let's just say that, by all the evidence, there's a lot more Trump fatigue out there than Trump indictment fatigue.
@RationalLeft If the name on the indictment was Joe Biden, every single Republican would be applauding the Georgia AG for holding up the rule-of-law.
The hypocrisy is not lost on them, they just stopped caring and look where that has got them all?
