The Netantyahu government is close to going to war with the majority of the military which is against its attempts to arrogate power to itself.
How does that saying go? You and what army?
@LiberalLibrarian: If the military winds up giving Netanyahu & Co. their walking papers and tell them fiat fascism/authoritarianism is not welcome in Israel, Michael Flynn & Co. will not know what to do, given the hard-ons they have for Israel, apartheid, etc.
@thedisasterautist The military and judiciary have much more legitimacy and popularity than Likud and its partners.
@LiberalLibrarian @thedisasterautist A recent poll from a company known for its conservative (as in cautious) approach found that 58% of Israelis says Netanyahu is leading the country to social, political, and military collapse.
That's... not a strong position.
