Why the fuck is it that whenever I post info about a date gone bad, where I am NOT the bad guy, everyone online likes to deflect all fucking blame to me but never the woman….but when a woman posts anything about a bad date, EVERYONE comes to her rescue, and try make it sound like the guy is the asshole, even if he did nothing wrong?? Such fucking bullshit dating double standards in the midst anymore.
@Ruthat I don’t know what that is. Sounds pretty bad though, and yes I’ve gone on some shitty dates…..why do people want to be on their phones so much more than actually talking to your date? That’s one of my biggest pet peeves that almost everyone engages in.
@Punisher1976 @Ruthat It sucks, but dates are compatibility checks and not necessarily a reflection on anything negative about you. If someone wants to spend more time on their phone talking with someone else, consider it all the data you need that they are not right for you. Better to find out early on then to waste time on someone who isn't emotionally available. Carry on. Stay open. Be you.
@Punisher1976 Read romance learn how to get out the bad dates.
@Punisher1976
Does that happen to you here? I hope not, I like to think that most of us are more fair than that. There was a time in my life that I was a complete asshole and treated men horribly, I deserved the blame
@Idissent Any one who has gaslit me or deflected everything back to me about this subject matter just gets muted or blocked on here so yes there’s been a few. Whatever happened to good old fashioned compassion?? Sorry but when I read a bad situation about somebody, where the fault is their own, I go into compassionate or empathetic mode, not going out of my way to make that person feel worse…..there’s enough bullshit in this world, why make it worse for someone?
@Idissent ^*where the fault is NOT their own**
@Punisher1976
I agree and I also agree we can be equally to blame
