For trained fighters like myself, street fighters are a nightmare because they're very unpredictable.

@FrankCannon God yes! 🤣 One of the good things with Ninj was it was relaxed (it's like Aikido mixed with street fighting). The moves were for training and learning, but actual fighting began with arms hanging at your sides. @GhostsOfWar50 @PirateWench

My stance is/was a basic Muay Thai stance with my hips open because I'm pretty fond of takedowns and grappling. A grappler will grab that forward leg and take down anybody in a karate stance like a gift. 😁

@FrankCannon You know, I had a reply ready along those lines. We've had this convo - my late Grandad boxed, his brother was a proper hard man (he was known in the Bluebell & Eagle and Child as someone you didn't fuck with). Their uncle in turn was a docker & street fighter who ended up prize fighting in Brooklyn, but it all skipped me and went to my youngest bro.

@FrankCannon I boxed a bit as a kid - a family friend was a fella named Billy Mac who'd trained John Conteh. I wasn't very good, so I took up Ninjutsu
One time we were sparring. I'd put this one lad down & we were supposed to stand back & let the next two have a turn, but once I got him down, I dropped down as though my elbow was going into his throat (it didn't). The guy training us asked why I didn't stop, I told him "If it was a real fight, I know he'd get back up and twat me" @PirateWench

That led me to think about Biden, how you just don't hear from him on a daily basis, then the realisation that that's the point of Trump.
