I'm going to say it now. Something is ABSOLUTELY wrong with the vote counts in TX, FL, and GA. There is NO WAY IN HELL that they were that much of a blow out. Especially in FL.

The down ticket races, maybe because the state is so fucking gerrymandered, but NO WAY was the gov race that much of a blow out. NO WAY.

@PirateWench What I'm hearing is that the past couple years FL has become a magnet, all the most Trump-loving retirees are moving there in droves, plus they've pulled some bamboozle on the Hispanic population to swing them more R lately.

@PirateWench I live in Florida. None of the results I've seen surprise me. It is incredibly red down here and they are very fired up this cycle. I'm sad, but not surprised.

@Obliviousfool I tool live in FL, CENTRAL Florida, farm country. This area went for Trump almost 80%, and I saw all the signage for him. But this election? There were Crist and Demings signage that REPLACED the trump stuff. I'm not really buying that it was that much of a blowout.

@PirateWench @Obliviousfool isn’t FL another state affected by that lawsuit the GOP launched to prevent early vote and mail in ballots from being counted until AFTER the in person ballots? Given that, plus a lot of the blue crowd were certainly talking about early voting. That would color the results quite a bit in the early stages.

@PirateWench I agree that it is more of a blowout than I thought it would be, but only by a few %. I'm in South Florida and there is much more love for Ron down here than people think. I also spend a lot of time around Orlando and I fully expect that area to stay very red. I hate it, but it's just what I see.

@Obliviousfool No, I understand. When I sold my house last year in Pompano Beach, I sold it to a gay republican man who had left NY because he didn't want to deal with "That mask nonsense". The GOP of NY is moving south.

@PirateWench The problem with FL is that Dems said after the primary that they weren't putting money into the state. There were no ad buys, nothing - they wasted hundreds of millions of dollars on losses in TX and GA - and FL became a self fulfilling prophecy of a huge loss. No one even knew who the down ballot candidates were.

@PirateWench
Somethings been fishy for a long time here in Texas. I mostly blame people who are still to unconcerned to vote.

@PirateWench Florida is because of the new district DeSantis gerrymandered in
