Well, as of 2025, I will be retiring as an admin staff member of City of Roleplay, a discord server populated with 19k fellow nerds geeking out over City of Heroes: Homecoming and roleplay within the game community. I spent the better part of 4 years, supporting, and guiding users on the discord, and fellow gamers in the game and it's time that I put my priorities straight to keep a focus on the education project I have rolling within the community of Everlasting on the game servers. #Gaming
@stueytheround On that, I quite agree. I will be keeping my eyes out for possible staff member applicants that fit what is needed, reliability, level headedness, and clear knowledge of the code of conduct in both discord and the game itself is something that unfortunately is scarce in the community at this time, but if they fit the role and want to put in the time, I'm willing to talk with them with the other admin members to see if they will be able to handle the workload.
@stueytheround Surprisingly, the community as big as it is, doesn't run into a whole lot of problematic users, so I guess there's some upsides to this news. It's rare to even ban anyone unless it's an extreme case of coc and tos violations and that happens about once every few months or so.
@stueytheround To be honest I think the community self moderates far better than most gaming circles, it's surprising really.
@PaganMother Getting to the point of passing the baton is quite an achievement.
