Daily reading: Ace of cups(reversed), the hermit (reversed), the moon. Explanations in the next post for each card in replies. #Dailytarot #Generalreading /1
The hermit in reverse suggests a need for social connection, friend, family, people that you love and cherish and draw wisdom from. As with its normal meaning the card suggests to take a step back from day-to-day life and really focus on your personal needs for growth. It's time to become self-aware. Pay attention to what's going on around you, meditation may be helpful to find guidance. /3
The Moon is a symbol of dreams and fears. With it resting in its normal position in the future role on the three-car draw, It's suggesting to be cautious. There are things happening around you and behind you that you're not paying enough attention to. This can lead to anxiety and self-doubt, So try not to get too lost with your own inner realm. Artists all have their own inner landscape, for the imagination and creativity drift freely. Try not to get lost in the dark. Find your spark. /4 end
So the quick and dirty summary, A recent relationship, possibly one that was harmful has wound down to a point that it can be safely ended. It's time for retrospect for on a personal level and to take a closer examination of what you desire out of your future. The moon simply wants to be cautious to step with care and to look more closely at what's happening around you.
@PaganMother The hermit reversed can also be a warning that one is seeking enlightenment by comparing it to popular sources, the common wisdom, and are losing themselves in the worldly, being distracted from seeking the actual lantern, because they are entranced by the circus lights and fires surrounding them.
@AskTheDevil Quite true.
@AskTheDevil I tend to leave the card readings open for personal interpretation for those that desire the guidance.
@PaganMother Thank you for these explanations. 💙
@ACG2 Certainly, it's my pleasure. Devil is also providing some good insight as well.
@PaganMother It can also mean a new relationship isn't going anywhere, or is a repeat of a previous relationship that ended badly. It can indicate a sense of false novelty that blinds us to warning signs about an emotional path we are headed on.
@PaganMother I like this community tarot. It's much more in depth then just a single interpretation.
@vo1de I like doing readings for friends, I find that when I get really into it I can actually give a better explanation for what the card means and how it links in with the layout and where it all links in together as a full story.
@PaganMother I do too, there is always another story or a special meaning when reading for other people. I'm not super comfortable with interpretations, because they can be so nuanced and varied by experience, so I just read the cards themselves (playing cards for me. I love them) and let the other person decide what it means to them. I like this group reading idea, I might have to try it out. There are a lot of readers and tarot nerds here. It's awesome.
@vo1de I'm enjoying it because of the fact that there's so much there to be taken in the reading and sometimes others add in what they also see in the reading too.
Ace of cups in reverse is a symbol of a relationship ending, with it being in the past, this is a recent affair that had come to a close, whether it is romantic or business related. This relationship was a source of inspiration and support and with it resting in reverse suggests creative stagnation in recent past decisions. /2
