Honestly, I do think that most "gender critics" are questioning themselves every time they issue attack statements and claims towards the transgender population. Imagine if you will, less than .1% of the US is trans, and you have a greater portion of 77% that's CIS. Why attack a minority that has NOTHING to do with you or your personal choices in life? Ya dig? It's just plain stupid ignorant bigotry. #LGBTQ
@PaganMother I in no way condone attacking or belittling trans or any other gendered/oriented person. But from my discussions, a good deal of people who do this, it's because they are afraid if their children see it as totally acceptable they will decide to be trans (or gay etc.) and they may end up having to deal with that situation and may not have grandkids.
I continue to bring it up with those who can at least rationally discuss the situation but it's hard to make progress.
