Did you know you can now see a Dr from your Amazon account? Anyone else find this disturbing???
@CinnamonGirlE telahealth I think it’s awesome, especially for people with mobility issues and other things. Amazon turning it into a store not soo much.
@Olivecatto
It certainly has its uses. And as a patient? I want it every time 😂 But there is no substitute for hands on and actually being in the same room with your patient.
Amazon. Capitalist America.
@Olivecatto yikes. We're definitely moving into a new era.
@Olivecatto Just wait till you get on a conveyor belt.
@MidnightRider I need a job! They are evil corp!!! Anyone want to hire me and pay me well???? I’m really good at lots of stuff and things. 😂😂
@MidnightRider I need a new job***
@Olivecatto The only jobs I have are the ones nobody wants to do, therefore they are mine! It's not 1970 anymore when kids hustled.
@MidnightRider agreed. Well I would know about kids hustling in the 70’s. But I was raised to work hard and earn your place. It’s hard to work for a big corporation where all customers and employees are expendable especially watching them dive into something that’s none of their business.
@Olivecatto It wasn't at mine it was magical but the greed of the capitalist machine took all that away.
@MidnightRider you are not wrong sir. However I am a believer in capitalism myself. I have many friends and family who own businesses and do well and are ethical. It’s a double edge sword for sure
@Olivecatto I'd believe in it way more with some common sense rules. Any corporation that employs more than a hundred people should have a CEO can only make X more than the janitor rule.
@MidnightRider that works be great! Also no golden parachutes and they need to work in the front line at least one week of each quarter 😂
@Olivecatto Just be fair with the performers, that's easy enough.
@Olivecatto I would never, NEVER do that!
@Olivecatto. Not really. Only if you choose to. They probably bought out a service, like they did with Pill Pack. They can fill your prescriptions.
@MistyKitty3 Oh I am intimately aware of Pillpack 🤣😂 it’s why it terrifies me.
@MistyKitty3 they buy out services that are good dismantle them of all the things that make them good to be more efficient to them, take many many short cuts and then rebrand. Eventually they will get rid of completely the service they purchase. Yes they bought one medical. A telehealth company
@Olivecatto They are spreading out too far. They bought everything, both Blink & Ring.
@Olivecatto I certainly wouldnt use the pillpack or med services. I wish doctors would hand out prescriptions in the office! I do not trust anyone. The damn pharmacists at CVS etc have big mouths.
@MistyKitty3 I avoid in person pharmacies. I loathe cvs and Walgreens. I take adhd meds and they treat me like a drug addict every time I need a refill. Luckily for that I have a small local one. But for my name brand injectable and others Pillpack isn’t so bad. You just have to stay on top of it. Don’t rely on auto ship etc
@Olivecatto lol you work for Amazon? I need a job, part time.
@MistyKitty3 no don’t. It’s bad right now. Find somewhere else.
@Olivecatto
Yes. I saw patients virtually during Covid. Somethings were okay for that. But again, these were patients I knew irl. As a provider, I don't think I could sign on for that.
