I’m not a huge Halloween person but I do enjoy a good local festival. If I was traveling to one of these it’d be Salem. Sounds like a blast and I could do ancestry research stuff. #Halloween

I’ve done lots of online tree building through My Heritage. That’s what spurred the desire to go to Salem. My first Colonizer ancestor came to Salem in 1627 and was prominent in the Gov and church. 🫣
@NorCalCherylLyn If you're interested in genealogy, you can do that at many Mormon churches. Some LDS churches have Family History Centers that are open to the general public. You don't have to be a member of the church. It's free to get in and use their records; you only pay for copies. They have death and census records, among other useful resources, and you can get tips on how to start or refine your research. Just google the nearest LDS Family History Center in your area.
