@Christmas_Snow @k_ratoncita @peeppeepcircus @grayman I checked several times last night but there was light cloud cover and with the lights of Sacramento I couldn’t see anything. I’ll be home tonight where it’s dark and a better chance.
I miss living in Bishop which is 4000ft elevation. The meteor showers are incredible there!

Sky cleared up in the wee hours.
My conductor and I saw several meteors, and at one point he asked me if we were supposed see the Northern Lights. I told him we were on the fringe of the area that may see them.
He said he thought the sky seemed different when he looked to the north, so when I had the opportunity, I checked.
It was faint, but just visible enough.
A darker sky would have likely left no doubt.

oh I love Bishop and so many areas around it so much!
I got to see some good fireballs after midnight. now a bit tired. 😁
@peeppeepcircus @grayman @Christmas_Snow @k_ratoncita the elevation makes star gazing really easy. Feels like you can reach out and touch them.
Looks like it will be clear here tonight so I’ve got my fingers crossed and an alarm set.
