@NorCalCherylLyn We've driven I-80 during "normal" winter storms. I can't imagine being so foolish to try to take a semi load thru this storm.
they should have closed Donner pass yesterday evening. instead, a truck jacknifed, traffic was stuck for hours, sanders couldn’t get through because of the stuck traffic, then the traffic cam went down.
cleared of traffic this morning but sheesh!
apparently some people didn’t even know it was going to snow.
@peeppeepcircus @NorCalCherylLyn Course, there are some carriers that would tell drivers to keep going so the load wasn't late.
@peeppeepcircus @BillieBun it would have made too much sense prevent the problems. They’ve know for two weeks it was coming.
