@Bix I have occasionally heard my fundamentalist/MAGA mother-in-law talk about how it will be in heaven, looking down on the souls suffering eternal torment in hell. There is some really terrifying, soul-freezing glee in the description — it seems to be equal parts spite and the joy of being in the superior, deserving in-group. TFG has weaponized this very effectively

Equally horrifying is the reasoning for their supporting Israel. They NEED Israel to be there for their much desired Armageddon to get kicked off.
