I think I might be an addict! And my fav isn’t here because I ran out. (shout out to Sister Bees and their great lip balm!) 🤫…there are more in my purse.

Anyone else unable to exist without lip balms?

@NorCalCherylLyn My lips desiccate at the first hint of a frosty day, worse when it is also windy, without lipbalm then I just would... I'd envy the dead. I like the strawberry flavour ones.

@CrypticMirror mine too! It’s usually windy here and it really does a hatchet job on my lips.

@NorCalCherylLyn Yes! I have them in every room and in the key bowl and in the car… backups in the medicine cabinet… vanilla or coconut are my favorites. I avoid mint (hard to find toothpaste without it.)

@CJLavoie I’m not a mint fan in balms except peppermint in the winter. Lean towards fruity ones but the chai and the coffee ones Sister Bees make are great!

@NorCalCherylLyn

Cannot live without it. My recent favorite is Oh My Goat Milk Lip Balm.

@NorCalCherylLyn

When it starts getting chilly my mouth cracks on the corners. I once got a sample lip balm containing 1% hydrocortisone. It worked wonders but I've not been able to find it anywhere and now I've lost the sample.

@ellesu oh, that sounds lint it would be good in my really bad days. Will have to keep an eye out for it.

@NorCalCherylLyn I used to be a Carmex user. (All the cool band kids were doing it). It's generally Blistex now or Nivea.

@Graci could never get into Carmex. Didn’t like the flavor or the application with you finger. Nice is a good one too!

@NorCalCherylLyn I think the draw was the softness and menthol tingle.

@NorCalCherylLyn

HUGE fan of Burt's Bees! Though, still miffed they eliminated the clove flavor!

@CLManussier they’re pretty close to Sister Bees. Nice and smooth.

@NorCalCherylLyn not me. Don't like how my lips dry out if I'm not rubbing something on them regularly. If I don't use them, lips stay fine.

@NorCalCherylLyn ~ On my desk, near the bed, in the junk drawer, and six of them in the car.

(In the car I need to have enough to keep them standing upright. If they're laying down they melt and leak all over the place in the summer heat.)

@NorCalCherylLyn Lip balms everywhere, always. My go-to is Mongo Kiss.

@SmirkingRaven that’s another new one. Will check it out. 👍🏻

@NorCalCherylLyn My dad said he heard the best way to avoid chapped lips was to kiss a horse square on the ass. After that, the last thing you want to do is lick your lips…

@NotoriousEPS 😆😂🤣 I sure wouldn’t lick my lips after that.

@NorCalCherylLyn

I have chronic dry skin and that includes my lips. I'd tried everything before switching to plain old petroleum jelly. It's sooooo much better - and cheaper. My husband was hooked on Carmex, but he got tired of his lips cracking and peeling anyway, so he finally switched to PJ as well. The biggest key for me is consistency. I use regularly - I don't wait for it to get bad.

@Agatha it’s recommended and it works but I don’t like the taste. I’m a flavored balm type.

@Agatha lol maybe it’s the lack of taste that bugs me… 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️
