How many out there have a project car? Is it sitting waiting for the funds or are you getting it done?

Ours is sitting so far. Bought it a few years ago cheap from a neighbor. It came from Germany with an AF Officer that was transferred to Beale AFB but was made for the American market. The transmission died pretty soon after we got it, maybe because it sat for yrs.

Hubby’s arthritis has gotten so bad and he can’t handle major automotive any longer so it’ll be $$$$$!

@NorCalCherylLyn It was a very dependable car before so I am hoping to get the repairs done ($$$) but that takes time. Might have to do it in stages. I want to remove the tinting because the rear window bubbled up and the back windows are stuck because the tinting is stuck down in the doors. I got the tools to remove the paneling. The weather stripping will have to be done by someone who knows what they are doing so not to damage the windshield.

@Redskye572 the bubbles in tint are irritating. Didn’t know it peeled and got stuck inside the doors like that. That’s a pain, sounds doable though.
