@tgraph52 trap doors in the roof should be a new custom option.
Itโs beautiful if youโre not living in it. ๐
we moved from MN to NM...
I like the snow we get here better... on the mountains at a distance.
@tgraph52 I grew up at 4,000ft elevation and miss the air up there but not the cold! We rarely had the kind of extreme weather like this back then. 1969 was the last really deep snow year I lived there. Too much hassle!!
Hubby wears shorts here year round because the Sacramento Valley โdoesnโt get coldโ. Heโs from MN too.๐
We're at 6000ft and get some few inches of snow sometimes... not often. It's usually gone by noon.
I can deal with that.
@tgraph52 gone by noon is doable. So much your roof caves is insane. 6,000ft is high up! Did it take long to adjust? Iโm used to the valley now but when I go home I just breath better. My lungs recognize home.
@tgraph52 high elevation gardening is a different animal. Much takes adjustment at elevation. Baking is different too.
@tgraph52 you need that chart for sure! ๐๐ป๐๐ป
I use it all the time now. It has made a big difference in baking.
@tgraph52 all the difference in the world!

I didn't understand flat lands until I left and came back...
The climate here is like the opposite of MN and my wife, an avid gardener, is learning/relearning most everything.
We went back to MN for a visit last Aug.. and instantly felt the humidity... but it's almost oppressive to us now.
