Sinema will likely caucus with Republicans. If Manchin also becomes an Independent, the Republicans will effectively have the majority. Both houses of Congress could become paralyzed or even unite to follow the Republican agenda and Biden's attempts to save the country will be in jeopardy. The short-lived celebrations are over. @OldCountryDoctor I don’t think she will though. Schumer could take away her choice committee assignments as punishment. I think everyone saying that she keeps her Presidents Manchin and Sinema power this way, is right
