Why the hell is my dog shedding so much?!? 😩 She sheds TWICE a year…A LOT!! This behemoth is a vacuum killer so we rake the carpet at least once a day. If you have a supershedder and don’t have one of the silicone carpet rakes go order one now! It’ll save your vacuum, save money on bags or filters.

I wonder if she was an outside only dog (yes gasp 😉 ) if she would shed as much?? I can't personally wrap my brain around outside only....but my son's two dogs are not allowed inside. They only blow their coat once a year.

Glad you have a decent solution to keep the carpets somewhat fur free

@Jbart1055 maybe you’re on to something about the outside thing. Her Dad (Prints cause his feet were soooo huge) lived outside and he dropped greats gobs of hair in the spring. Don’t remember autumn shedding… 🤔

Maybe it’s her mom’s hair genes. Border Collie + Pyrenees = fur factory? 🤷🏻‍♀️

REALLY recommend the rake to households with shedders in them! 👍🏻👍🏻

I just remember my son explaining why they didn't bring the dogs in and it gets quite cold here. But they have a heated house if they want to use it.
I love seeing their horses get their winter coat...the black horse looks like a giant plush toy.

@Jbart1055 most Pyrenees have a job to do outside. Ours is a house pet. Lmao…we live in 390 square feet and have a 80lb dog and big fat cat. It’s crowded in here!! 😂
