Does anyone else have a website glitch with safari where all kinds of media plays in the counter social tab and one cannot stop it?
@ceorl @NiveusLepus @CoSoTips Definitely happens in Safari. And now it's happening on my iPad too. At least on the desktop I can click the tab's speaker icon twice to silence it. Not on iPadOS.

to get rid of it
seems to be associated
with accidentally bumping
a link that opens a new tab
in safari which i swiftly close

Ha! Whenever I hear of someone with that problem of media playing when they don't want it, I am tempted to ask "so you're using safari?", but I don't have any helpful advice so I hold my tongue :)
Yes I think it is pretty common :)
