@Jezibaba @duglop This reminds me of a funny story.
When we bought this house in 2017, I did the heathen thing and walked around the land with a candle.
One of the neighbors stopped and welcomed me, and asked what I was doing. "A tradition from the old country" I told them.
I offered my hand and she gripped her cross, turning pale.
That was the last time we've seen our neighbors for 7 years, save for the well guy that wants our money and the tractor guy that moved in after.

@Jezibaba @duglop When I was a kid there was always rumors that one of the houses in the neighborhood was a "Witch House"
It was this big scary thing with tall tales a plenty... Normally it was the one that was the most run down etc.
I realized that we're the witch house on our little hill, and I felt strangely proud.
