@LnzyHou You think America is "waking up" ??
@LnzyHou @MidnightRider The dawn always comes
There is so much that is bleak right now, but hope shines like stars in the sky. We have all these people, scared yes, concerned definitely, but we all care, we're all focused, and we are all together.
That, to me, is reason for joy in the night.
@NiveusLepus @LnzyHou
Given we are living finite lives, the peaks and troughs of the wave the politicians exploit and foist upon all of us can mean some people miss that dawn. The GOP and Christians never seem to learn. You can only plunge and compact a cannon so much before you explode another Woodstock, just a matter of time before all of these folks face the title wave of rejection but I'll probably be gone. At least I saw it as a cub.
Growth is infinite, but it is not a straight or ever ascending line. There will always be moments of fatigue, moments of retrograde thinking taking prominence, but each of us on the vanguard of history carry the spark forward for it to be ignited again.
No matter how dark the night, it is never hopeless. We have seen this, in big and small ways throughout history.
I think they did. But we didn’t know about it.
My 94 yr old mother continues to say “There is nothing new on this earth. We’re just seeing it more clearly”.
@LnzyHou @NiveusLepus That was Ecclesiastes in the bible: "there is nothing new under the sun". I completely, agree. What is new? The ratio of hate-based ignorance to reasonable humans equations has tipped more than the Earth's axis. We will always have assholes, but must we give them the microphone?
@NiveusLepus @LnzyHou I don't think it's ever been "darker". People didn't fire at each other on the highway for a horn toot.
