On June 14, 2017, a madman shot 6 people, including then-House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. The news was met with outrage across the political spectrum. Everyone understood that what happened was horrifying.
Just three and half years later, the Capitol was assaulted by a mob incited by our own President and his sycophants. Steve Scalise and the vast majority of his Republican colleagues voted against impeachment, and are afraid to hold anyone accountable.
Cowardice. Plain and simple.
