Life can be wildly tragic at times, and I've had my share. But whatever happens to you, you have to keep a slightly comic attitude. In the final analysis, you have got not to forget to laugh.

This was posted to my Facebook page in 2011, my dad passed away in 2002. It wasn’t until today that it clicked at the connection.
My dad used to always joke that I could “Have his diamond when I pry it from my cold dead hand.”
That was 21 years ago. I still mourn him. I miss him every day.
Hug your loved ones and never let them forget how you feel.
