Do some whiskeys change flavor after they are opened?
I bought a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail and loved it.
Now it seems hot and missing some of the sweetness and complexity it had when first opened. It's only been about 5 or 6 weeks since I opened it

Oxygen will change the flavor of any alcohol

My taste isn’t that good. (Bad sense of smell) so I try not to keep them around that long.
But just as wine will turn to taste like vinegar, any alcohol can be effected by oxygen.
Hmm. Maybe I should turn this over to my husband and he can do a YouTube video on it. 🤣🤣🤣

I guess with some it's more noticable than others. I've never noticed it before
