Phew what a week and it's not even over yet. Got a letter from DHS mentioning closure of our family food benefits and I was in the horn with them for most of the afternoon trying to figure out what the hell happened to the paperwork I filed to update us in the systems. As it turns out they are backlogged by at least two months. So there may be a delay on food benefits for next month which the worker told me to call and let them know so that they can push through and make sure that it's covered.

@MrGoat Yeah this area is kind of slow in regards to anything when it comes to government paperwork. I mean the housing assistance sign ups have a wait list of 9 years. My son will be in college by that time.
