What's that name for calling together a random group by messaging app that was so popular 15 years ago?
It came across like that kind of "recruitment" to me.
Which could be dangerous...there won't be time to background check people.

Somebody would send a text out, say for a song performance at a certain time and location, and each receiver was to send it to everybody in their contact list, and each of those contacts to all of theirs.
Then, random people, most of whom didn't know each other, would show up and perform the song (or whatever the occasion was - I had even heard of gathering a wedding audience this way).
