@RationalLeft @PussyFootingAround I keep trying to get gun extremists to "come to the table" for gun laws. Not only do they forget about all the other Amendments they should remember that one actually got repealed.
3rd could be construed to be about guns.
It is astounding that the most widely quoted text is the least read. Much like the Bible.

@PussyFootingAround @RationalLeft The 2nd, but there are key words they skip in that too! "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,",,,, that actually IS the National Guard!

Naturally it omits the well regulated militia part and begins with "..."
