@MikeBarbre But they are on the money. Socialization is extremely important to success. Too many people are under socialized which makes life much harder for them than it should be, especially those with higher IQs. Intelligence is more than IQ points, how you navigate life with thousands of other humans also affects one’s life successes.
@MikeBarbre it's because most kids naturally develop social skills but as mentioned, these parents weren't worried about academics. They were worried about the correlation between high IQ and introversion.
