@wildnfree The “everyone is living a better life than you are” is more FB than Twitter. The other two, well, yeah.

@wildnfree I wound up more-or-less quitting FB because of that. I found it too hard to keep hiding my reality.🙁

@Meredith I ended up with following mostly groups/interest pages with a hand full of friends but it is not for me

@wildnfree FB was great for reconnecting with HS classmates. I almost entirely posted non-personal stuff—news stories with commentary, beading pictures, infographics (created by me), until my mom died and my brother waged war on me. It was a great source of support during a horrible and traumatizing time, when I was far from home at my mom’s house. Other than that, tho, having to hide what my life was really like and the contrast with others became too much.
