@AnnetteTRemain your point
@catlynne333 The US determined that US citizens in US territory controlled by domestic terrorists had the right to protection by the US army. Grant went scorched earth on them.
@catlynne333 Also, which badassed states keep wanting to secede and do things on their own and better than the rest of the US? Oh the ones constantly needing their ass bailed out with natural disasters. Within one year they'd be holding a hand out after yet another disaster they did not handle with state resources alone.
@AnnetteTRemain @catlynne333
But where ISN'T a hurricane zone? It's 450 miles from Asheville, NC to the Gulf Coast.
@MelissaHDavis And of course Texas can't manage to keep their electricity going every year. One hurricane season and one winter is enough for northern states to defeat a second confederacy. @catlynne333
@AnnetteTRemain @catlynne333
And a lot of them aren't, see Hurricane Sandy.
No one is going to secede; no state could survive without federal monies and the proposed tariffs would kill the idea.
@MelissaHDavis Most of the secessionist states are in hurricane strike areas. @catlynne333
