Each evening after dinner, I check the tomato plants. How much dadgum bigger can the green ones get before they begin turning red? I'm ready for my first mater sammich this year.

@MelissaHDavis Maybe you can put some overripe fruit (trimmings) out under the tomato plants, to expose them to some of nature's ethylene gas, to tell the tomatoes to ripen.
