Good morning, @Mandypar!
I have been reading that cities in England are facing budget shortfalls similar to those in the U.S. Services I took for granted growing up like parks and libraries are on the chopping block with no end in sight to the less-services for more taxes cycle.
The only way I can deal with the frustration is to try to make a difference in my tiny corner of the world; I volunteer on the local fair board as who doesn't love the fair?
@Mandypar
I am glad you have the MS center, even if physio is tough.
@MelissaHDavis Yes there is a public funding crisis everywhere. Sadly leisure of any sort is at risk as is something as vital as a library. Public housing is also struggling - in fact today I saw this online which is local to me. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cl40dzge5kmo Services in all sectors are increasingly turning to charities to replace or add to their offerings (but that is not new as I was told years ago that physio was available from here and not the NHS https://bmstc.org/)
