Even though I live in a blue state I am absolutely terrified for the future of trans people. We will lose access to our meds, our doctors, be forced to revert our ids, and many other basic human rights will be stripped from us.
I'm trying so hard to keep it together for myself as well as the many other trans people in the world. I am going to fight until I die, I just hope that's when I'm 94, not 44!
@SaltyVeruca The most important part is that we keep checking in on each other and offering support where we can!
@MarvelousMadi13 And I'm here.

You are not without allies. I don't know what I can do to help but I will do my best to help. I'm so sorry this is where we've landed as a country.
@janallmac Honestly just being there to listen helps a lot! Being older, I want to be stronger for the ones that can't be, but I'm sure I'll have my bad days too!
I have two friends who are trans, and while we live in a blue state as well they've both talked about their anxiety and fear.
@AI78 You always want to hope that you're safer in the blue states, but when the all the major branches of gov are controlled by a dictator it's hard to stay positive that your state will stay blue
@jaunty Always appreciated, and often times more than you know!
@MarvelousMadi13 there are many of us standing beside you in solidarity, and here to listen if you need us
@MarvelousMadi13 Wish we could hold hands. I'm scared too.
