This news of McConnell telling Trump 'no recess appointments' has been DELETED by the D.C.-based New Yorker reporter….
AFTER a sitting US Senator (@BasedMikeLee) and basically the entirety of X got wind of the news. It is a SEVERE F-up for a reporter with a news organization to somehow devise a quote up out of nowhere and attribute it to the wrong person
@catlynne333 Anyone who believes that McConnell would actually stand in trump's way is an idiot, seriously. McConnell loves one thing: to hurt people. He'll never do a goddamn decent thing for the people. He's not called Moscow Mitch for nothing.
I can't wait for the RED STATES to figure out there won't be any BLUE STATE largesse in the future to bail them out.
