what's everyone reading? in terms of books, i mean.
the book i last read that i really liked was james - it's the huckleberry finn story told from the perspective of jim, a slave & huck's companion.
it was really good & made me re-think everything about huck's story.
would love to hear your recommendations. i've started & stopped the last 5 books i've picked up b/c life is too short to continue to read books that don't captivate you.

I just started Fever in the Heartland by Timothy Egan
The Klan and the woman who brought it down
The intro begins the story in Indiana where the Klan was so powerful they picked the Governor.
@Madken65 🤔 you'll have to tell us whether it was a good read or not. the story sounds intriguing. depends on how the author tells it, i guess.
