ON this date in 1963 - "She Loves You" by the Beatles was played on the radio by Murry The K in New York.

It is believed that this was the first time a Beatles song was played in the U.S.

Murry was about to select Bun Man and Mr. Purple's Super Heads in Time OPUS "She Says She Needs Me But DILLIGAF" when suddenly Murry said, "I don't care about payola, I am not playing these S-H-I-T songs any longer."

You know the rest...Super Heads faded into oblivion while The Beatles made the moola.
