Playing in two different places?
Revenue issues?
Or just spreading UCONN largesse around?
Looks like someone needs an apt in Storrs to facilitate fan attendance...
Perhaps one of those pesky Eastern Hedge Funds could front you the money on a 21% fixed cost loan.
You in?
Hehehe
@Madken65 One of my kids was living in an apartment in Storrs until recently. The rent for his bedroom was about 4x my mortgage.
@Madken65 They've always split the season home games between the two sites; Gampel Pavillion is on campus in Storrs, but has about 6,000 less seats than the XL Center in Hartford. I've had season tickets in Hartford (most years) since the early 1990s. I love Storrs, but it's next to impossible to get there in time for weeknight games. In the past, the "good games" and weekend games have been split pretty evenly between the two venues. This year heavily favors Storrs.
